Restore a backup without creating duplicates

  1. Keep an editable project backup

    Keep an editable project backup.

The real exporter prepares this file from the current count. Keep draft and incomplete status with the figures. A backup contains the original stock file, including hidden expected quantities.

  2. Return to saved counts

    Return to saved counts.

Closing the view does not delete a saved count. Your saved count remains on this device.

  3. Load the backup made in this lesson

Load the backup made in this lesson.

This is the exact project download offered earlier in the lesson, kept only inside this training frame. Import a backup checks the whole file before anything is stored.

  4. Choose saved restoration

    Choose saved restoration.

Select saved storage before the duplicate check. The file stays in this browser and cannot overwrite a different version.

  5. Check for an already saved count

Check for an already saved count.

Press Restore the count to perform the real saved-count check. An identical backup does not create a duplicate.

  6. Open the saved count instead of duplicating it

Open the saved count instead of duplicating it.

An identical backup does not create a second count. Open the already saved count and check its figures.
