Keep reports, history and a complete backup

Download genuine PDF and both CSV formats, preserve an earlier trace after withdrawal, and restore a validated full project.

For operators

Practice runs the real TraceBench application with synthetic files and isolated saving. Prepared controls only supply files to real input controls. Nothing is uploaded or sent to a live service.

Read these instructions on any device. Watch or practise a chapter on a desktop or laptop, with a desktop or mobile application layout. Demonstrations use sample data and simulated scanners.

Keep reports, history and a complete backup

  1. Open the prepared two-file example

    Open the prepared two-file example.

Try an example prepares synthetic production and despatch files, mappings, coverage and one numbering declaration. This is disclosed setup; your own files need explicit review.

  2. Follow the supplier lot forwards

    Follow the supplier lot forwards.

SL-0042 reaches two batches and shipments S-501, S-502 and S-503. Missing production sequence 7 leaves the answer Partial, even though the example declares complete coverage.

  3. Keep this result in project history

Keep this result in project history.

This stores the complete immutable question, result and basis inside the current project. Save or download the project to retain it beyond this tab.

  4. Download the actual trace PDF

    Download the actual trace PDF.

The A4 report includes the full question, recorded links, where the records came from, gaps and separate project warnings. Check private values before sharing.

  5. Choose lossless CSV

    Choose lossless CSV.

Lossless CSV keeps exact strings for a data importer. Opening untrusted formula-leading values directly in a spreadsheet can be unsafe.

  6. Download the exact CSV

    Download the exact CSV.

This real download includes the trace result and where the records came from. The saved envelope still carries the complete project and original files.

  7. Choose spreadsheet-safe CSV

    Choose spreadsheet-safe CSV.

Spreadsheet-safe output escapes formula-leading cells. Exact values remain in the project backup.

  8. Download the spreadsheet-safe CSV

    Download the spreadsheet-safe CSV.

Keep the format distinction when sharing the report. Both CSV formats include relevant gaps and separate project warnings.

  9. Open the explicit identity decisions

    Open the explicit identity decisions.

The prepared example already has one declaration. Matching text alone creates only a possible link, never an automatic join.

  10. Explain why a decision is being withdrawn

Explain why a decision is being withdrawn.

Give the basis for the change. Withdrawing appends a decision and keeps the earlier decision and saved results.

  11. Withdraw the prepared declaration

    Withdraw the prepared declaration.

Remove the active example numbering bridge. New runs use current decisions; earlier saved results retain their original basis.

  12. Save the project on this device

Save the project on this device.

Save only on a device you control. In this practice frame the store is disposable and separate from ordinary workbench saves. Local saving is not a cloud backup.

  13. Download the complete saved envelope

    Download the complete saved envelope.

This actual backup includes originals, ignored columns, past interpretations, withdrawn decisions and saved results. Store it securely. Direct transfer to LotTrail is not available yet.

  14. Refuse an invalid backup without replacing work

Refuse an invalid backup without replacing work.

The prepared invalid JSON enters the real backup importer. Refusal preserves the current project and its saved history.

  15. Restore the backup just downloaded

    Restore the backup just downloaded.

This practice control puts the genuine downloaded bytes into Import a backup. Read and accept the replacement confirmation. Originals and hashes are checked before replacement.

  16. Read the restored historical result

    Read the restored historical result.

A restored saved trace is a reference snapshot. To ask the question against current files, choose a current starting record and run it again.
