Owner setup: cribs and responsibilities
Owners set up locations and enrol stations. Ownership does not grant authoring, review or floor authority.
For owners
Use this synthetic demonstration to learn the sequence. Work only with your own authorised role and check the physical situation.
Read these instructions on any device. Watch or practise a chapter on a desktop or laptop, with a desktop or mobile application layout. Demonstrations use sample data and simulated scanners.

Open cribs and positions from the menu.
- Name the exact position code
Name the exact position code.
As an owner, give the physical position a recognisable exact code. Creating it does not place any asset there.
- Name the physical crib

Use a name people can match to the actual location. A return review position is separately identified.
- Add the crib position
Add the crib position.
The owner records the location. Supervisors must still record opening observations; authors and reviewers control approved references.
The recorded lesson is complete. Current records and current authority must be checked again for real work.
