## Review a held asset without making it ready

1. **Loans, holds and review**

   Loans, holds and review.

   Open loans, holds and review from the menu.

2. **Select the held fixture**

   Select the held fixture.

   Select the exact asset under review. Its condition hold remains a separate record.

3. **Retain the observed damage**

   Retain the observed damage.

   Record the actual condition. This example is still damaged, so leave the hold clearance box unticked and retain the hold.

4. **Record the checked observation**

   Record the checked observation.

   Explain the observed condition and what must happen next. Review is not a physical movement or a calibration approval.

5. **Record the supervised review**

   Record the supervised review.

   The supervisor records the review and preserves the unresolved hold. Only clear a hold when its required work and evidence justify clearance; restow is a separate physical confirmation.
