Maintain recorded borrowers

Maintain recorded borrowers.

For supervisors

Use this synthetic demonstration to learn the sequence. Work only with your own authorised role and check the physical situation.

Read these instructions on any device. Watch or practise a chapter on a desktop or laptop, with a desktop or mobile application layout. Demonstrations use sample data and simulated scanners.

Maintain recorded borrowers

  1. Recorded borrowers

    Recorded borrowers.

Open recorded borrowers from the menu.

  2. Enter the borrower code

    Enter the borrower code.

A supervisor maintains custody contacts. These records are separate from Accounts users and product seats.

  3. Name the custody contact

    Name the custody contact.

Record the actual receiving person or team. Do not use a borrower record to impersonate the signed-in actor.

  4. Assign the exact badge code

    Assign the exact badge code.

The badge selects this contact. It does not authenticate them, grant a role or change who records the command.

  5. Save the borrower

    Save the borrower.

The supervisor records the borrower. Inactive contacts retain their outstanding loans, and authorised returns remain possible.
