## Complete a value without Enter

1. **Choose manual completion**

   Choose manual completion.

   Manual completion is useful when no reliable Enter or Tab suffix arrives. Confirm that the full value has arrived before finishing it.

2. **Start capture in the focused box**

   Start capture in the focused box.

   Start capture explicitly. Only this box collects keyboard input. These keystrokes are simulated; the course does not measure a physical scanner.

3. **Enter the complete value without a suffix**

   Enter the complete value without a suffix.

   This prepared input stops without Enter. It remains unfinished until the real Finish scan control is used.

4. **Finish the complete scan manually**

   Finish the complete scan manually.

   Manual finish records the value and leaves capture ready for another scan. It cannot turn truncated data into a correct encoded value.

5. **Stop capture deliberately**

   Stop capture deliberately.

   Stopping pauses the capture box. The retained observations stay available for local review and export.
