# Remove a fitted part

Record the removal of an installed part, keeping its identity and installation history, and hold it for new checks.

Work as Sam at the recovery bench. Record the removal as soon as the part is out of the unit.

## Remove a fitted part

1. **Choose the recovery bench**

   Choose the recovery bench.

   Choose the named bench where you are doing the work.

2. **Use the named station**

   Use the named station.

   Use your own sign-in to take control of the bench. This does not reserve or release any part.

3. **Open Remove a part**

   Open Remove a part.

   Open Remove a part from the menu.

4. **Scan the removed module**

   Scan the removed module.

   Scan the module you have taken out of Build five seven nine zero, P M zero four five two. It is recorded as installed.

5. **Choose where it is now**

   Choose where it is now.

   Choose where the module is now, the checks and review area.

6. **Record why it came out**

   Record why it came out.

   Record why the module came out.

7. **Confirm the physical check**

   Confirm the physical check.

   Confirm that you have checked the module and where it is now.

8. **Confirm the removal**

   Confirm the removal.

   The removal is recorded. The module is held until new checks and an independent release.

9. **Open the menu**

   Open the menu.

   Open the menu to look at the record.

10. **Show the office pages**

   Show the office pages.

   Switch the menu to the office pages, where the records are.

11. **Open Components**

   Open Components.

12. **Search for the serial**

   Search for the serial.

   Search the complete register for P M zero four five two.

13. **Run the search**

   Run the search.

   Only the matching module is listed.

14. **Open the module's record**

   Open the module's record.

   It is the same identity. Its installation in Build five seven nine zero stays in its history, marked removed.
