Read a reorder-point request from StoresFlow, its stock snapshot and why one request is kept for the item.

Audience: Operator

Sam Ashworth is signed in with only the Operator role. StoresFlow has raised a request for M8 zinc-plated bolts because bin B-12 fell below its reorder point, and later revised that same request with its newer figures.

## Check a request from StoresFlow

1. **Open the request queue**

   Open the request queue.

Check which requests still need ordering and which supplier can fulfil them.

2. **Read the StoresFlow request**

   Read the StoresFlow request.

StoresFlow raised this request when bin B-12 fell below its reorder point of 80 pieces. Its snapshot shows 70 pieces available and 40 already on order. Why this quantity shows the 150-piece need, nothing netted since that snapshot and nothing yet in drafts.

3. **Check there is one request for the item**

Check there is one request for the item.

Requests lists one open StoresFlow request for M8-ZP. When StoresFlow's figures changed, it revised this request instead of raising a second one, so the need is counted once.

Purchasing keeps one open request for each item from StoresFlow. A later request for the same item revises it, so the need is never counted twice. Prepare the order from the queue as usual; nothing is ordered until a supervisor approves it.
