Prepare the right sheet and printing route

  1. Start a print check

    Start a print check.

Start a check from the start screen. Three steps follow: prepare the test, print one copy at actual size, then measure, scan and report. Your checks stay in this tab.

  2. Choose four-by-six-inch stock

    Choose four-by-six-inch stock.

Four by six inches is not the same as 100 by 150 millimetres. Match the stock actually loaded.

  3. Choose the 300-DPI printer

    Choose the 300-DPI printer.

This prepared office example uses 300 DPI. The document and the physical printer settings must agree.

  4. Prepare the known test sheet

    Prepare the known test sheet.

The original PDF is checked and its preview is rendered from the same bytes. Downloading a sheet does not mean a label has printed.

  5. Review the PrintStation hand-off

    Review the PrintStation hand-off.

The link selects a known test sheet in PrintStation. Attended printing happens on the printer computer with its connector app. No printer or external tab is opened by this lesson.

  6. Download the verified test PDF

    Download the verified test PDF.

The downloaded PDF is the original verified file. Print one copy at actual size on the printing computer, then inspect the paper.
