Correct a scan and deliberately rescan

Keep linked corrections and earlier repeats, then make a fresh observation.

Correct a scan and deliberately rescan

  1. Start a manifest check

    Start a manifest check.

Check distinct IDs against a reviewed local list. This synthetic lesson never confirms physical contents or despatch.

  2. Choose the prepared manifest

    Choose the prepared manifest.

The prepared CSV enters the real file input. Each listed carton has its own exact ID; this is not a quantity list.

  3. Map the exact ID column

    Map the exact ID column.

Choose Label for the carton IDs. Leading zeroes remain significant.

  4. Map the descriptions

    Map the descriptions.

Choose Text for the description. The Ignore column stays outside the retained snapshot.

  5. Name the manifest snapshot

    Name the manifest snapshot.

Give this reviewed snapshot a recognisable name. A name and date are local context, not verified authority.

  6. Declare the list date

    Declare the list date.

This declared source date does not prove that a manifest is current.

  7. Confirm distinct physical IDs

    Confirm distinct physical IDs.

Confirm that every row is a distinct carton, pallet or serial ID, never a repeated SKU representing a quantity.

  8. Load the reviewed manifest

    Load the reviewed manifest.

The real reader validates three unique IDs and keeps only the mapped columns. A pallet ID never implies its child cartons were checked.

  9. Record the first listed ID

    Record the first listed ID.

The exact listed ID counts once. This keyboard submission is a local observation, not proof that goods were loaded.

  10. Keep a repeated scan visible

    Keep a repeated scan visible.

A repeated ID does not satisfy another listed carton. The observation stays in history as Already seen.

  11. Review coverage and exceptions

    Review coverage and exceptions.

Review missing, unexpected and repeated observations independently before finishing or exporting.

  12. Correct the original observation with a reason

Correct the original observation with a reason.

The original observation remains linked to its correction. Its earlier repeat is not promoted into evidence; a deliberate new scan is needed.

  13. Return to scanning

    Return to scanning.

Continue with the existing list and retained history.

  14. Record the first listed ID

    Record the first listed ID.

The exact listed ID counts once. This keyboard submission is a local observation, not proof that goods were loaded.

  15. Review coverage and exceptions

    Review coverage and exceptions.

Review missing, unexpected and repeated observations independently before finishing or exporting.
