Replace a damaged label safely
- Open a previously recorded run
Open a previously recorded run.
History preserves the exact original label bytes and per-copy outcomes. New templates and rules do not rewrite accepted jobs.
- Select exact reprints
Select exact reprints.
Select only the damaged copy. The new linked run retains the original bytes, while current permissions and duplicate safeguards are checked.
- Select unit one, copy one
Select unit one, copy one.
Replacing one damaged label must not regenerate or resend all copies in the original run.
- Record why this copy is replaced
Record why this copy is replaced.
Record the actual observation and remove the damaged label. A timeout alone is not a sufficient reason to make a duplicate.
- Acknowledge possible duplicate output
Acknowledge possible duplicate output.
The original label may already exist. Acknowledge that risk after inspecting the physical output.
- Create the linked exact reprint
Create the linked exact reprint.
The new run is linked to its parent and records the reason. PrintStation prints the same original label, even if the active template has since changed.
