Use made-up files for practice. FeedBench checks on this device only. No file is uploaded or sent into a live product.

## Review a column mapping and its output

1. **Open the prepared mapping**

   Open the prepared mapping.

Try the made-up CardBench mapping. Read how each source column fills a new column before creating a preview.

2. **Create and review the mapped preview**

Create and review the mapped preview.

Create a separate file in the chosen layout. Review the output carefully. These receiving rules are draft checks and do not prove that a live import will succeed.

3. **Download the reviewed CSV preview**

   Download the reviewed CSV preview.

Read the warning and accept only if you want the development preview. The source bytes stay unchanged. The receiving copies field is emitted as a whole number.

4. **Download the mapping choices**

   Download the mapping choices.

Save the mapping recipe for reuse. Reusing a recipe does not remove the need to check the next file.

5. **Download a report without private rows**

Download a report without private rows.

The default PDF contains counts and problem locations. It leaves out your values unless you explicitly add records.

6. **Save the work on this device**

Save the work on this device.

Save on a device you control. Local work is not a cloud backup or an approved production import.

7. **Download a portable backup**

   Download a portable backup.

Keep a backup if you need to reopen this work elsewhere. It contains your files and settings, so store it securely.
