## Compare exact keys and review duplicates

1. **Start a file check**

   Start a file check.

   Start a temporary check. Your file stays in this tab until you choose to save it on this device.

2. **Open the made-up files**

   Open the made-up files.

   Choose one of the made-up files to see a useful result or problem without using customer data.

3. **Choose two versions for comparison**

   Choose two versions for comparison.

   The files contain an exact key with leading zeroes and a repeated key. Repeated keys must be reviewed, not merged by choosing the first row.

4. **Read changes and repeated keys**

   Read changes and repeated keys.

   Read the added, removed, changed and unchanged entries. A repeated key is marked ambiguous because the right pairing is not known.

5. **Download a report without private rows**

   Download a report without private rows.

   The default PDF contains counts and problem locations. It leaves out your values unless you explicitly add records.
