Handle an invalid dimension

Read a genuine evaluator refusal for a dimension outside the approved range.

For supervisors

This lesson uses a fictional frame and a person with only the supervisor role. No result here is approved for real manufacture.

Read these instructions on any device. Watch or practise a chapter on a desktop or laptop, with a desktop or mobile application layout. Demonstrations use sample data and simulated scanners.

Choose no panel for this frame. Do not infer a missing option.

  7. Enter an out-of-range width

    Enter an out-of-range width.

This fictional width is below the declared minimum. Evaluate it to see the refusal, rather than guessing a replacement.

  8. Read the invalid result

    Read the invalid result.

The evaluator refuses these inputs. Correct the source values and evaluate again; do not accept or manufacture from an invalid preview.

Check the current record and your own authority before working with real data. An evaluation result never authorises manufacture.
