Make and keep a bin card
- Enter the example bin location
Enter the example bin location.
The location stays as text. Its exact value is the barcode value while it is bound to Location ID.
- Add a short bin description
Add a short bin description.
Use a short description that fits the fixed card. The card is not silently resized to fit long text.
- Keep the example part number as text
Keep the example part number as text.
Keep zeroes at the start. Printed text and the selected barcode value are separate choices.
- Choose the example printer resolution
Choose the example printer resolution.
Choose the resolution of the printing computer’s printer. This example uses 203 DPI; FactoryCards cannot detect the printer.
- Check the card and generate the PDF
Check the card and generate the PDF.
The real worker checks the text and barcode fit, then makes the PDF. Its preview uses those completed bytes.
- Download the checked PDF
Download the checked PDF.
The PDF already contains the requested pages and copies. Print it at actual size on the printing computer. Downloading it does not prove a card printed.
- Save the editable project
Save the editable project.
Keep an editable project as well as a PDF. It preserves the current fields and print profile, but not the original CSV review history.
Keep exact identifiers and print at actual size. This training does not qualify physical printers or scanners.
