## Resume deliberately while retaining the gap

1. **Open a saved running changeover**

   Open a saved running changeover.

   This prepared project enters the real importer. Its completed first phase survives, but its unfinished interval becomes uncertain and timing stays paused.

2. **Name the phase to observe now**

   Name the phase to observe now.

   A fresh boundary will begin now. It cannot reconstruct the period while the saved project was closed.

3. **Resume with a new real boundary**

   Resume with a new real boundary.

   Explicitly start a new observed interval. The earlier uncertain gap and completed phase remain unchanged.

4. **Keep the gap after resuming**

   Keep the gap after resuming.

   The new phase has a genuine measured duration. The earlier gap still prevents a whole-changeover total.
