Prepare a reviewed LabelRules file

Export a retained version and preserve its evidence for receiving-product review.

For viewers

Use an authorised SmartFACT account and synthetic practice data. This desktop guide follows the complimentary invited pilot. Background connections and Google Sheets synchronisation are outside its scope.

Read these instructions on any device. Watch or practise a chapter on a desktop or laptop, with a desktop or mobile application layout. Demonstrations use sample data and simulated scanners.

Prepare a reviewed LabelRules file

  1. Open reference tables

    Open reference tables.

LabelRules receives customer product codes from a retained ConfigSheets version. The current product screen calls this a LabelLogic import.

  2. Choose the shared table

    Choose the shared table.

The prepared table has different columns for kit_sku and customer_sku. Only the appropriate customer product values belong in this file.

  3. Set the receiving effective date

    Set the receiving effective date.

This date applies to the receiving label import. It does not schedule a KitProof mapping change.

  4. Prepare the file and evidence

    Prepare the file and evidence.

ConfigSheets verifies the export evidence against the file bytes. Download both files, review the receiving draft, and follow its separate acceptance and activation checks.

  5. Download the customer product file

    Download the customer product file.

The file is prepared from saved version one. This demonstration downloads synthetic data only.

  6. Download the export evidence

    Download the export evidence.

Keep the source version and export settings with the file. A download is not confirmation of delivery or activation.

Watch or practise this chapter

Keep receiving-product review and activation separate from saving or exporting reference data.
